Kim Kardashian is putting her cosmetic know-how to good use.
In the midst of orchestrating the release of 17 inmates in the past three months, Kardashian, 38, is also now helping a former felon remove his face tattoo — a procedure he hopes will give him a fresh start.
Kardashian, who is currently studying to practice law, slipped out of her impossibly tight corset Monday after the Met Gala and flew to Charlotte North Carolina to meet with the former inmate, 24-year-old Paul Algarin, People reports.
According to his sister, Azaria Algarin, Paul served seven years on weapons charges when he was still a teenager. Azaria posted a photo of her family with Kardashian and Kanye on Instagram, writing “never in a million years did I think Kim would write him back (or even read his letter), fly in right after the met gala (not to mention her 4th baby is due at any minute), invest in our family & laugh / relate to us over the smallest things.”
Along with her husband, Kardashian also reportedly brought out her doctor, who will begin the process of removing Paul’s face tattoos.
Azaria wrote in the since-deleted caption that her brother wrote to her in prison, asking for Kardashian’s address so he could reach out to her.
She said she never thought anything would come of it: “I rolled my eyes & never sent [it]. Eventually my mom sent it … so he would stop harassing us.”
The families had lunch together before Paul met with Kardashian’s doctor.
“I’m so proud of my brother for taking steps in the right direction,” she wrote. “Such a special day that I will forever cherish.”
